THE OPPORTUNITY:

  • We’re looking for a Late Model Mechanic who is skilled in body hanging.
  • The position requires a passion for racing, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Build and repair our Late Model race cars for required competition specifications.
  • Repair, replace, and/or fabricate parts on cars as needed.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain components of the race car to ensure optimal performance.
  • Fabricate or modify body panels for compliance and rules.
  • Carefully align and fit the exterior body panels to the chassis, ensuring precision in measurements.
  • Be a team player in keeping workspace and race shop in a clean and organized order.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required. Additional vocational or technical training and/or certifications is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of mechanical, body hanging experience is preferred.
  • Experience in a race shop environment.
  • Must comply with all safety regulations.

  • Consistency in delivering high quality work.
  • Communicates professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be flexible with your time to meet fixed deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve overall performance objevtives and goals.
  • Position requires having a geat attitude, taking ownership of their work, and is a team-player.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Bending, stooping required.
  • Requires lifting and moving up to 75 lbs.
