News & Notes

Texas Team Stats: In four prior NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races at Texas Motor Speedway, Rackley W.A.R. drivers Josh Berry, Matt DiBenedetto and Ty Dillon have a combined average finish of 19th. Berry (2021) and DiBenedetto (2022) boast the team’s best result of 10th at the mile-and-a-half oval.

Sutton Texas Stats: This weekend will mark Sutton’s first start at Texas. He has two prior starts on mile-and-a-half tracks from the 2024 season at Homestead-Miami Speedway, where he finished 19th and Kansas Speedway, where he finished fifth. Additionally, he has finished 17th (Atlanta), 19th (Las Vegas) and 23rd (Homestead) at the three mile-and-a-half tracks the series has visited this season.

Last Race: Sutton qualified 19th for the Truck Series’ return to the historic Rockingham Speedway last weekend. Though he was overall happy with the handling of this truck, an unscheduled pit stop for a flat tire cost him two laps, and with passing at a premium, he ended the race four laps down in 19th.

Points Update: Sutton remains 19th in the championship standings, just eight points behind fellow rookie Connie Mosack in 18th and one ahead of Matt Mills in 20th. Though he’s 189 points behind leader Corey Heim, Sutton is just 62 back from Stewart Friesen, who currently holds the 10th and final playoff spot.

Rookie Standings: Sutton lost a spot in the rookie standings at Rockingham. Giovanni Ruggiero leads the way, followed by Andres Perez De Lara and Connor Mosack. Sutton is just eight points behind Mosack, though he has a 30-point advantage over Toni Breidinger and 25 over Frankie Muniz.

2025 Stats: 7 Starts, best finish 16th (Martinsville)
