Statesville, NC (May 23, 2025) – NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series and Pro and Super Late Model championship race team, Rackley W.A.R., announced an alliance this morning through its W.A.R. Grip Late Model Alliance with Kenna Mitchell Racing of Loomis, California.

Mitchell, 19-years-old, began racing at the age of 11. Inspired by her dad’s ventures in Modifieds, she made her first start in a Mini Cup car and hasn’t looked back. Her list of achievements is beyond impressive.

In 2019 she made the move to the U.S. Legends Cars Bandoleros division and earned the championship at her home track of All American Speedway (AAS) in Roseville, CA. The following year, she moved into Jr. Late Models and was runner-up in points at AAS.

In 2021 All American crowned Mitchell the Jr. Late Model champion. She had also begun racing at Madera (CA) Speedway that same season & was voted Most Improved Driver.

2022 saw Mitchell become the youngest winner of a Pro Late Model race at All American Speedway. She was runner-up in points (2 wins & 11 second-place finishes).

2023 was an even bigger year for Kenna as she kicked off a full-time Pro Late Model program and made her first start in Super Late Models where she accomplished 2 wins, 7 Top 5 and 1 Top 10 finish. She humbly takes pride in noting that she was the first girl to set fast time in qualifying at Madera and to win a Pro Late Model race there.

Last year, Kenna won the Wild West Super Series championship and the Berco Pro Late Model Championship at All American Speedway. She also finished 4th in points in the CARS Tour West series with 3 Top 3 finishes and 4 Top 10 finishes. For 2025, Mitchell intends to run more than 20 top level events in a CARS Tour West Pro and Super Late Model, as well as a Limited Late Model.

The W.A.R. Grip Alliance will open Rackley W.A.R.’s research, development, technical services, and W.A.R. Shocks & Suspension’s award-winning data-driven program to Mitchell’s west coast-based racing program, backed by Sinister Diesel and led by crew chiefs George Black and Corey Englehardt.

Kenna said, “I’m pumped to be teaming up with Rackley W.A.R. this season. I’m grateful for the chance to tap into their racing experience and bring that knowledge to our own program and on the track.”

Rackley W.A.R. president, Willie Allen, said this newest alliance demonstrates the team’s commitment to growth and in developing young talent to be tomorrow’s racing stars and the future of the sport.

“We are extremely happy to make this announcement with Kenna Mitchell today. She is a brilliant young driver and her future in this sport is bright. They have a solid team in place over on the west coast, and I think today’s announcement is a win-win for both parties. We’re eager to get to work with them and we’re looking forward to a long and winning relationship. This is another big step forward as we remain laser focused on building and bettering our entire race program.”
