Milwaukee Mile
Start: 15th | Finish: 16th | Driver Points: 18th | Owner Points: 22nd
TTy Dillon finished 16th in Sunday afternoon’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series LiUNA! 175 at the Milwaukee Mile after leading laps for the second race in a row.
After qualifying 15th, Dillon kept the No. 25 Rackley Roofing / W.A.R. Shocks Chevrolet around 15th to 20th throughout most of stage one. When a late-stage yellow flew, crew chief Shane Wilson made the call to keep Dillon on the track when the majority of the front runners pitted, allowing him to inherit the lead. He held the top spot for six laps and picked up his first stage win of the season.
A pit stop under the stage-ending caution saw Dillon restart stage two 21st and he worked his way through the first to 17th by the end of the stage, which went green from flag to flag. Stage three also ran caution free and Dillon ended up 16th.
