Statesville, NC (March 19, 2025) – Dawson Sutton will pull double-duty this weekend. He wheels his NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) No. 26 Rackley Roofing Company and W.A.R. Shocks Chevrolet Silverado at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Friday night and heads straight to Pensacola’s 5 Flags Speedway bright and early on Saturday morning for ASA Stars National Tour Super Late Model practice and the running of the Sunshine State 200 on Sunday.

This will mark the 4th stop on the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule and will be the opening event for Track Enterprises’ ASA Stars National Tour.

Sutton is no stranger to back-to-back events and has done as many as three in a weekend. The 19-year-old from Lebanon, Tennessee says he’s excited to be back in the Super Late Model just as much as he’s looking forward to his second trip to Homestead-Miami Speedway.

“I’m really looking forward to being back at Homestead-Miami. This will be my second run here and I’m excited to take what we learned last year and work with Chad [Kendrick, crew chief] and all the new crew guys to put together a nice run this weekend.

“This will be a relatively easy weekend compared to some we’ve had lately. Three [races] in two days or a weekend can be a little demanding for sure, but two races Friday and Sunday; we should be good. I’m really excited for both of these this weekend.”

Sutton finished 19th in his Homestead debut in 2024 after taking over driving duties of the No. 25 truck following the departure of driver Ty Dillon late in the race season.

In addition to running full-time for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year in the Truck Series, Sutton says he plans to run the entire ASA Stars National Tour Super Late Model schedule in 2025.

He has one Super Late Model win to his credit already on the new race season. He claimed victory at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway in the SPEARS Super Late Model CARS Tour West season opener January 25.

Fridays NCTS race will be televised live on FOX beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET.  Sunday’s ASA Stars late model event will be streamed live at TrackTV.com for subscribers.
