Martinsville Speedway

Start: 24th | Finish: 15th | Driver Points: 33rd | Owner Points: 22nd

Dawson Sutton finished 15th in a relatively uneventful NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway.

After starting 24th, the driver of the No. 25 Rackley Roofing / W.A.R. Shocks Chevrolet reported a loose race truck. Under the first yellow for a stalled truck on lap 36, crew chief Shane Wilson brought his driver down pit road for four tires, fuel and a trackbar adjustment.

With just nine green flag laps after the field went green once again, Sutton was pleased with the adjustments and finished stage one 23rd.

Most of stage two ran under green until a single-truck incident with two laps remaining, ending the stage under yellow. Happy with his handling, Sutton requested no changes to the truck and pitted for four tires and fuel.

Stage three ran under green for 53 laps before a single-truck incident slowed the field once again. Under that yellow, Sutton brought the No. 25 Chevrolet to the attention of his pit crew for four tires, fuel and an air pressure adjustment. A pair of yellows over the final 30 laps slowed the field, and Sutton ran as high as 12th before settling into a 15th-place finish in his first run at Martinsville.
