Dawson Sutton to Campaign Hettinger Racing Chevrolet with Rackley Roofing at Bristol Motor Speedway

Hettinger Racing debuts in the ARCA Menard’s Series at The Last Great Coliseum

September 16, 2024 (Concord, NC): Hettinger Racing announced today that accomplished Pro Late Model and Super Late Model driver Dawson Sutton will pilot the No. 71 Rackley Roofing Chevrolet Camaro in the Bush’s Bean 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway this Thursday, September 19, 2024.

The Bristol start will mark Sutton’s first ARCA Menard’s Series (ARCA) race in a career that includes countless victories across late model and development series throughout the country. He also recently made his first start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) at North Wilkesboro Speedway earlier this year. The Lebanon native is quickly turning heads as he progresses through racing on a national stage.

“Racing at Bristol is a dream come true. I grew up watching races at the track and anytime I can race in Tennessee is an honor. I know Chris and the Hettinger team will be ready to go this weekend.”

Joining Sutton and Hettinger Racing is longtime racing supporter Rackley Roofing. Headquartered in Nashville, the Bristol race will be a homecoming of sorts as they return to Tennessee on the World’s Fastest Half Mile. Rackley is no stranger to Bristol, as they sponsor an entry in the NCTS that will race later in the evening with Ty Dillon for Rackley W.A.R. Racing.

The race at Bristol will mark Hettinger Racing’s first start in the ARCA Menard’s Series. The Chevrolet-supported team is looking forward to a strong showing on the high banks building on a successful tenure in the CARS Tour.

“I am excited for our team’s first ARCA start at Bristol. With Katie focusing on her senior year of high school, this race is a great opportunity to continue building Hettinger Racing with an accomplished driver like Dawson. I know our team will be there to compete at the highest level.”

Thursday’s Bush’s Beans 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. EST on FS1. Practice will be at 1:00 p.m. EST followed by qualifying at 2:00 p.m. EST. To learn more about Rackley Roofing, visit www.RackleyRoofing.com
