CENTERVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 3, 2023) – Stefan Parsons heads into NASCAR Championship Weekend at Phoenix Raceway to pilot the No. 25 Rackley Roofing Company, Inc. and W.A.R. Shocks Chevrolet. The 25-year-old will make just his third NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start this season and his first for the organization.
“It’s hard to put into words what this opportunity means to me,” said Parsons. “Curtis (Sutton, co-owner) and Willie (Allen, co-owner), along with Chad (Kendrick, crew chief) and the entire team have built a winning playoff-caliber organization. I’m honored to climb behind the wheel of the No. 25 Chevrolet Silverado and represent the Rackley Roofing and W.A.R. Shocks brands at Phoenix Raceway.”
Parsons is no stranger to the Truck Series garage with 10 career starts, including two this season. His best finish of 17th came in his series debut at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2018.
“Stefan has always been a good friend to us and works hard at the racetrack whether he’s driving or helping crew a car or truck any given weekend,” Rackley W.A.R. President and co-owner Willie Allen said. “He’s always willing to do what it takes to get the job done and shows a great work ethic.”
A rich family history of racing saw Parsons grow up around the sport. His father Phil, who is currently an analyst for NASCAR on FOX, raced in the NASCAR Xfinity and NASCAR Cup series. He later became a team owner and fielded cars in both the Xfinity and Cup series before selling the organization’s assets in 2015.
Additionally, 2017 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee Benny Parsons was Stefan’s uncle. The late Parsons raced in the 1960s, 1970s and a little in the 1980s, snagging 21 wins and the 1973 Cup Series championship. In his later years, BP was a household name while serving as an announcer, analyst and pit reporter for multiple television stations, including ESPN, ABC and NBC, among others.
Rackley W.A.R.’s No. 25 Chevrolet sits ninth in Owner Points with a healthy 62-point advantage over Kyle Busch Motorsports’ No. 51. In just its third season, the organization will mark its first top-10 finish in the owners’ standings after results of 19th and 15th in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
The Craftsman 150 from Phoenix runs Friday, Nov. 3 at 10 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1.
